Art from Wackers graduates

Mark Roggeveen, this year's Mokum Award winner, is displaying his work at Galerie MOKUM in Amsterdam and now in Amstelveen as well. He is joined by candidates Annelies Bannenberg, Bep Baron, Gonneke Warnars, and Inez Hegeman.

DeNieuweGalerie, a pop-up featuring regional artists, highlights the graduating students of the Wackers vocational training in August. The Wackers Academy is a vocational school for drawing, painting, and sculpting. Five graduates showcase their final projects, with works ranging from figurative to abstract, beautifully painted in oil, acrylic, and mixed media. The exhibit includes both large and small affordable artworks.

The pop-up will be open for three days from Friday, August 30th to Sunday, September 1st, and for an extra weekend from Friday, September 6th to Sunday, September 8th.
