West Meets East
On Sunday, September 22, the annual musical performance West meets East will be held at the Elsrijk Open-Air Theater. The performance will last from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
In this fourth edition, the focus is on the cultures of Western and Eastern Europe. Residents who moved to Amstelveen after World War II will introduce us to their cultures. Orchestras, with the participation of neighborhood residents, will perform music from their countries of origin, such as the Dutch East Indies, Japan, India, and Ukraine.
Registration The West Meets East performance lasts from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and costs €5, including coffee/tea. Doors open at 2:00 PM. Alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. Address: Elsrijk Open-Air Theater, De Ruwiellaan 20, 1181 PS Amstelveen.
