Lordi
LORDI was founded in 1992 by singer, songwriter, and designer Mr. Lordi and has become one of the largest Finnish rock/heavy metal bands of our time.
Originally from Rovaniemi (in Northern Lapland), the band gained international recognition after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with the hit "Hard Rock Hallelujah."
Since then, the eccentric group has charmed audiences across Europe with unforgettable songs and impressive monster costumes. They have become a staple at renowned festivals such as Wacken Open Air (Germany) and Masters of Rock (Czech Republic).
Mr. Lordi himself designs and creates all the costumes for the band by hand, and it takes him at least three hours every night to transform into the legendary monster-man.
