Pick Your Own Tulips
Tulip picking season starts in April at Pluktuin Amstelveen. These tulips grow in open soil, making them extra sturdy and long-lasting in a vase. Visitors can pick their own tulips while enjoying the colorful surroundings.
There are also fun activities for children, including vase painting, tulip picking, and arranging. During Easter, special events take place: on Easter Sunday, the garden is filled with tulips and hidden Easter eggs to find. Easter Monday marks the first Holland Pluktuin Festival, featuring classic Dutch games like "koekhappen" (bite-the-cookie) and cow milking.
Beyond tulip picking, Pluktuin Amstelveen is a great spot to relax with a cup of coffee. On both Easter days, pancakes are on the menu.
