Middelpolder
A beautiful nature reserve, just outside the urban centre of Amstelveen. With good hiking trails, and some mud trails (boots along!) so you can explore the polder in complete peace and quiet. A nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Also a great place for birdwatching, because there are quite a lot of birds flying around and descending in this area.
