Historic Tram
A charming, old-fashioned ride on a historic tram. Along the route past the Amsterdamse Bos and various heemparken, you’ll see some of the most beautiful spots in Amstelveen. The railway line was originally part of the now-defunct Haarlemmer railways, which were built between 1912 and 1918. The tram runs twice an hour, every Sunday from April through October.
You can get off at any stop and hop back on the next tram, making it easy to combine your ride with one of the following activities:
-
A visit or walk in the Amsterdamse Bos (Stop: Koenenkade / Van Nijenrodeweg)
-
A visit to the Climbing Park / Fun Forest Amsterdamse Bos (Stop: Van Nijenrodeweg)
-
