This walk offers beautiful vistas and a wonderful combination of flora and fauna in and around the Amsterdamse Bos. During this route, you'll pass through the Bloesempark, where hundreds of cherry trees bloom in the spring. You'll also enjoy a stunning view over De Poel, which, despite its shallowness, is still used for watersports.
As you continue, you'll walk through the grazing areas of the Amsterdamse Bos and Schinkelbos, where you can spot Scottish Highland Cattle and Exmoor Ponies. These animals keep the grass short and enhance biodiversity through their grazing behavior, attracting new plants, insects, and birds.
You begin and end in the old town of Amstelveen were you can enjoy lunch or dinner afterwards.
